ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Charleen. I am a therapist (LMFT) based in Florida. I have been providing therapy to clients for the past 9 years, first in the community setting and now in my private practice. My most typical clients are women in their early 20s to late 30s, that are dealing with challenging life transitions. That can include a variety of topics such as breakups, family conflict, career difficulties, feelings of insecurity, attachment issues in relationships, friendship issues, anxiety/depression, and just general "I don't know what I'm doing with my life". I also specialize in working with clients from the LGBTQIA community, that are looking for a safe space to seek mental health treatment (I am a gender affirming provider). Living in the age of COVID-19 has really intensified mental health issues for a lot of people. Feelings of isolation, loss, constant stress, awkwardness socializing, and other issues have come up a lot in my practice. I create a comforting and non-judgmental space in my therapy sessions where you are the expert of your life, and I'm here to help figure things out with you. I will provide you with coping skills and a listening ear to all of the challenges you are facing. It's time to put yourself first and stop pouring from an empty cup. Reach out to me to learn more.
